Sara is Chef Nino's youngest daughter, but one of six children! Growing up in the family's Sicilian Restaurant, she has always had a love and passion for food and cooking. She is the fourth generation of the Elia family to train in the culinary world focusing on Southern Italian & Sicilian cuisine.
Sara operates and manages the Italian Market and hand selects the products and inventory. All of the products in the market are made and produced in both Italy and Sicily and imported straight to Piccolo Eatery from her vendors in Italy and Sicily.
At the market, she carries over thirty different pasta shapes, a full line of gluten free/vegan pastas and flours, risottos, extra-virgin olive oils, vinegars, taralli, cookies, pesto, cheese, packaged salami, prosciutto and so much more! Sara is a wealth of knowledge about Sicilian and Southern Italian cuisine and can help you pick the perfect ingredients from the market & how to use them.
